Composer of a radically chiselled electronica, Syl Kougaï has been the architect of his musical machinery since 1998. He sets out mature and explosive compositions backed by an indisputable virtuosity. Syl Kougaï immerses us in a warm and carnal music. Immersed in jazz, rock, hip-hop and techno music, he surprises the listeners by the ever changing choice of his sound universes, each of his compositions revealing infinite orchestration resources. Elaborating his sounds with extreme demands, Syl Kougaï has a passion for complex synthesis and deluding acoustics : harmonious hisses, deep or spatial layers, crackling or aquatic basses...
