Kiss Kiss Kiss are four young lads from Danish province Aarhus, who plays charming rock inspired by the more danceable rock acts from all decades. Kiss Kiss Kiss was formed in May 2007, but have played headliner-gigs all over Denmark and several gigs with bands as Dúné, The Kissaway Trail and Albert Hammond Jr. (From The Strokes). The youngsters haven't released any albums yet. But in November 2008 the band recorded a self-finance EP, which was released in February 2008. The track ‘Hector’ - was played at the national Danish radio station P3, and the track ‘To The Beaches’ has topped the chart of the Danish blog radio Soundvenue High5 and was added to the French indie-radio YAMAN’s playlist. More over ‘Hector’ was featured at ‘MINI Cooper’-magazines Copenhagen Issue together with the Danish acts Figurines and Trentemøller. A magazine which was published in 180.000 copies in all European capitals. In February 2008 Kiss Kiss Kiss opened the Danish Music Award show* in front of the entire Danish music business. Same evening their received a Danish Music Award for being the best ‘MySpace’-band in Denmark. In July 2008 Kiss Kiss Kiss played at the Roskilde Festival where an excited reviewer wrote a 5 star review: “Trough the hole concert the band where able to sustain the attention of the crowd. As a fleeting kiss they went away after only 35 minuttes. No unnecessary things – No piss from Kiss Kiss Kiss! - Thorbjørn Nyander Poulsen, MyMusic In August 2008 the biggest Danish music magazine GAFFA had a two page interview with Kiss Kiss Kiss as a part of a serial of three interviews with the most interesting upcoming acts in Denmark at the moment. Outside Denmark people have discovered Kiss Kiss Kiss as well. In December they played two gigs in Berlin at the legendary clubs BangBangClub and Raw-Tempel and in February they played at the Norwegian city-festival by:LARM. In February the four youngsters was signed at EMI Nordic by the Swedish A&R Ismail 'Isse' Samie, who is also the A&R for - among others - Lykke Li, Håkon Hellstrøm and Kleerup. During the last couple of mouths the band has been recording the first part off their debut album with the bass player from the Danish band WhoMadeWho.
